Arrows Learn about the different types of bow arrow, and the companies that make bow and arrow. You can buy arrows for hunting arrows, carbon arrows, or just cheap arrows for hunting.
Arrow Spine - Arrow spine refers to the stiffness or bend resistance of the arrow. Properly spined arrows are critical to good arrow flight!

A properly spined and balanced arrow is needed for good flight and game penetration. The bow should be tuned with the proper spined arrow, just as a rifle must have the proper weight bullet and powder load.

In order to fly straight and true, an arrow must be spined according to the shooter’s arrow length and the draw weight of the bow. As draw weight and arrow length increase, so must arrow stiffness.
Carbon Arrows vs. Aluminum Arrows
When selecting arrows for hunting and target shooting many things come into factor about the construction of the arrow. Arrows are made of three types of material, aluminum, carbon, and wood (for traditional) shooting. At some point I am sure you have heard that carbon shafts penetrate deeper than aluminum shafts and are far more superior.

This is not a tall tail, this statement is true because carbon arrow shafts are typically lighter than equivalently spined aluminum shafts and carbon arrow shafts are better at dampening arrow vibration. Giving the carbon arrows a boost ahead of the aluminum arrows; because the carbon arrows utilizes its KE (Kinetic Energy) better than the aluminum arrows do.  Thus giving your arrow more striking power, and better penetration on the hit. The choice is purely in the bowhunter’s hands, as whether to use Carbon shafts or Aluminum Shafts. Properly spined and weighted arrows or either will produce enough KE to take down even the largest of Big Game.
